- Stable professional life, yet feel stuck.
- In relationship that has lost its spark or divorced.
- Tired of the toxic "hustle and quick-fix culture".
- Have always done the right thing for others.
- Feel an emptiness inside...
- ...and asking yourself: "Isn't there more to life than this?"
Do you experience any of this
- Feeling stuck or passive in key areas of life, sensing a lack of power to make meaningful choices or lead with clarity and confidence.
- Emptiness despite the external success, leading to questions about what brings you joy and fulfilment.
- Lacking deep, meaningful relationships in which you can express vulnerability and be truly seen and heard.
- Longing for space and freedom to explore and express your true self, including your creative and passionate sides.
- Struggling to maintain a healthy balance between work, personal life, and self-care leads to unmet needs in relaxation, health, and personal growth.
- Seeking a more profound connection to something greater than yourself through community.
Is it time to drop the mask and live authentically from the inside-out?

These aren’t wild, overnight quick-fixes.
No masks.
No pretending.
No “grind harder” advice.
Just honest men,
doing the inner work… together.

- Most men are between 40 and 50, but we have members between 30 and 65
- The majority are based in Europe, but we have members based in the US and Asia.
- The majority have, or have had, a professional career.
- Approximately half of the members are expats.
- Most are in a long-term committed relationship, and some are single/divorced.
- Most have children.
- The majority are heterosexual and a few are openly gay.
The focus of this community is psychological age rather than physical age. This means we talk about the topics that usually come to us when we enter the so-called midlife crisis - the point in life when you get fed-up living up to other people's expectations and start the process of becoming who you are from the inside-out. This typically happens around 40, but some arrive at this phase earlier, and some later.
This means that we are not a community for men in the heroic phase of life - typically between 20 and 40 - which is the phase of establishing identity, proving oneself, leaving the mother (or comfort zone), and conquering the world. There are plenty of other men's groups for this phase of life.
The community is created around heart-to-heart conversations, and we set the tone of this container in our weekly calls.
You'll experience a high level of psychological safety in the online Community conversations - the members engage honestly and vulnerably. This stems from the topics we focus on - one cannot stay surface level if wanting to transform from within.
This doesn't mean we don't have surface-level topics and conversations ranging from health, exercise, sports, music, and more, but the tone is honest and authentic.
The key topics of this community are:
- Personal purpose, values and vision
- Self-worth and Empowerment
- Intimate Relationships
- Masculine and Feminine Energies
- Physical wellbeing
- Mental wellbeing
The key modalities are:
- Reflective Inquiry
- Presencing
- Meditation
- Breathwork
- Embodiment
Our founder has a practitioner experience in (1) Buddhism, (2) developmental psychology, and (3) the work of Carl G. Jung from a decade of working with leadership development, executive coaching, and team facilitation.
In the intersection of these three schools of thought, we are inspired by the work of David Deida, Gilette & Moore, Robert Bly, James Hollis, and derivatives of these and more.
Our meditation, breathwork, and embodiment are rooted in Chan Buddhism and the Shaolin tradition and infused with modern interpretation.
Every member has their own set of beliefs, and as long as this doesn't get in the way of authenticity and curiosity, you can believe what you want. We have all flavours in the community: Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Agnostic, Atheists, Spiritual Not Religious (SNR), and probably more since we don't ask.
The key is that you are not dogmatic - hold your beliefs lightly, be curious when challenged and generous when sharing.
Yes. The first physical get-together is May 9th-16th 2025 outside of Prague, Czechia. This weekend retreat is offered 2-4 times a year in different countries depending on interest.

Without Us
Here's how two men described their lives before joining.
"I’ve just been through another day, and there was nothing in it for me. I didn’t do something for me today that will help me create the life I want.
Since I’m not building my life, I’m building somebody else's. This realisation hurts."
Martin
"I have lived half my life, and the fact that I one day will die has dawned on me. I don't want to feel how I've felt for the last 10 years until that day.
And, if I don’t take the chance to live the life I want, what have I then modeled for my kids?"
Joseph
With Us
This is what men in the brotherhood say.
“It´s great to be in this space, to be in front of other men, having the community to share what is real within myself. There is such power here, such honesty. And such beauty.”
Martin
“It is so great that you are building a 'safe space' for men to be able to talk and discuss with compassion and empathy and without judgment. It's very inspiring!”
Faro
"The men's support and guidance helped me stand firmer in life, making decisions with clarity and conviction."
Jonas

If you had just 5 years left to live… What would you do differently starting today?
Would you keep putting off your wildest dream?
Would you keep pushing down the part of you that wants more?
Would you still settle for the “good enough” version of life?
You already know the answer.
That pain you feel isn’t weakness.
It’s a wake-up call.
A wake-up call to come back to yourself. To remember who you are beneath the career title, the mortgage, and the family calendar.
But I get it — Changing the way you think… rewiring the patterns you’ve been living with for decades…
That’s not easy.
You’ve been wearing that mask for so long, you forgot it was a mask.
So… what’s the best way to make that change?
A brotherhood.
Because let’s be real…
Most of us grew up in a world where being a man meant being alone.
Don’t cry. Don’t feel. Don’t need anything.
Just provide. Just grind. Just figure it out yourself.
And it worked… until it didn’t.
Until we realised we were surrounded by people — but felt completely alone.
Until we looked successful — but felt like something inside us was slowly going numb.
That’s why brotherhood is different.
Not some fake support group or surface-level circle of high-fives.
Real Brotherhood is a space where:
- You drop the mask, and no one flinches.
- You speak your truth — and someone says, “Me too.”
- You’re challenged when you play small — and backed when you rise.
There’s something powerful about being seen — truly seen — by other men… and realising you’re not broken. You’re not weak. You’re not alone.
Because the truth is:
The man you want to become…
He doesn’t emerge when you white-knuckle your way forward.
He’s awakened when you stand shoulder to shoulder with other men…who are committed to rising too.
This is where it happens.
In the Brotherhood.
In the fire of truth, connection, and challenge.
Not in isolation.
Not someday.
Now.

Fredrik Lyhagen – Guiding Integration
Fredrik Lyhagen is a trusted guide for men navigating the crossroads of midlife. With a background that spans executive leadership, deep inner work, and transformative men's circles, Fredrik brings a rare combination of grounded presence, strategic clarity, and emotional depth to his work. He speaks the language of high performers and seekers alike—men who have built success on the outside but crave meaning, vitality, and deeper connection within.
Having led teams and businesses across Europe for over two decades, Fredrik knows first-hand the pressures of performance, the quiet toll of disconnection, and the call that emerges when achievement no longer satisfies. His journey through shadow work, somatic practices, and spiritual exploration led to a powerful realisation: true strength comes not from control, but from integration—of mind, body, heart, and spirit.
Fredrik is also a husband of 22 years and a devoted father to a daughter entering adulthood—real-life roles that keep his work honest, grounded, and deeply human.
Today, he is the founder of Transformation Within, a growing community for men committed to living, leading, and loving from their mature masculine core. His approach blends ancient wisdom with modern psychology, drawing from Jungian work, Buddhist philosophy, and masculine archetypal development. He creates spaces where men can drop the mask, reconnect to their truth, and step into leadership that inspires—not just in boardrooms, but in their homes, relationships, and communities.
Whether through 1:1 coaching, group programmes, or powerful retreats, Fredrik supports men to awaken their presence, claim their purpose, and embody their power—so they can meet life fully and lead with integrity.
If you’re a man in midlife ready to trade silent struggle for grounded strength, Fredrik is a guide worth walking with.
